Dance-Along Nutcracker® 2026: A Dance-Along Toy Story (Dec 19, 3:00 PM)

About This Year’s Show

Clara and Fritz say they’re too old for toys. But when they sneak back to rescue their childhood favorites from the donation bin, a little leftover holiday magic shrinks them to toy size. With a cowboy Nutcracker and a sugar plum doll as their guides, they set off across San Francisco by cable car to find their way home.

It won’t be easy, but they won’t have to do it alone. You get to help them along the way, from your seat or out on the dance floor!

About Dance-Along Nutcracker

Dance-Along Nutcracker^® is San Francisco’s joyful, interactive holiday show where live music, theatre, and playful audience participation come together for a family-friendly celebration.

Produced by the San Francisco Pride Band, the Official Band of San Francisco, Dance-Along Nutcracker blends Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite with Broadway, pop, movie, and contemporary favorites. Each year, the 75-piece band performs an all-new musical theatre storyline filled with big characters, humor, choreographed dance numbers, and plenty of chances for the audience to join the fun.

When the “Dance Along!” cue appears, the whole theatre becomes a tutu-filled dance floor for kids and adults.

This one-of-a-kind Bay Area holiday tradition welcomes all ages — whether you dance center stage or enjoy the spectacle from your seat. To check showtimes, purchase tickets, and learn more, visit DanceAlongNutcracker.org.
