I am a bass trombonist in the San Francisco Pride Band and, by day, a transportation engineer at the SFMTA. My co-workers informed me of the Band and I decided to give it a try, as I was heavily involved with music when I was younger. I’ve been part of the group for almost a year now and have no regrets. I love taking a moment throughout my week to escape into music, and it’s even better given the values, contribution to community, and acceptance the Band represents.
