Giving Tree

For the past two years, money donated through the Giving Tree helped to fund our groundbreaking BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) Commission Program, sponsoring up-and-coming Bay Area composer Mattea Williams as our inaugural Composer in Residence and commissioning the acclaimed Carlos McMillan Fuentes to compose American Epic, a piece highlighting the band’s history and impact.
